Independent Research

on Digital Hostile Influence

Who We Are

The Cyfluence Research Center is an independent, non-profit research organization specializing in the study of digital hostile influence. In today's interconnected world, digital hostile influence campaigns (HICs) have emerged as a favored tactic among threat actors. Whereas such sophisticated campaigns were traditionally in the domain of nation-states, a new generation of private-sector influence companies, akin to information warfare mercenaries, has led to an unprecedented influx of hostile influence operations.

The ramifications, spanning from political extremism to a deterioration in trust in political institutions and even violent uprisings, are felt across the globe. Our objective is to provide a platform for scientifically rigorous, objective, and current research and insights, empowering decision-makers in both public and private spheres to make well-informed choices. We look at the world through the lens of influence.
